Saw this in the Times yesterday. Looks like the same deal as the eee.
Can't find any spec on it apart from it has 1Gb ram and wireless.

I see Elonex have spared no expense on the website design.

Looks like it has 1Gb storage, not RAM. Would like to see the complete spec though.

Looks like Asus gave a lot of manufacturers a kick up the backside.

hehe, its not an elonex really, a little search turned up :

http://ec.fontastic.com.tw/clients/showproducts_A9...

300mHz processor, 128/256 meg of ram, 4 gig of rom, 1/2 gig of flash, optional bluetooth and webcam.

The Nokia 770 is just about usable, and thats got a similar speed processor, but less memory.

It appears the people at Asus can sleep easy if that's the spec.

It may be lower spec, but its one helluva lot cheaper, and its easily fast enough for basic browsing and word processing.

Shame they didn't fit the touchscreen.

Hmm, how to actually convert one...

I don't see how the "tablet" bit is usable without a touch screen.
