We can connect to the router but not to the Internet. Our PS3 seems to suggest a DNS problem, whatever that means. Have reset the router to no avail...

Ok for me..obviously, but it's an issue I am familiar with.
At least 3 - 4 times a day, the router goes 'out of range' & I can be sat next to it! I then nearly always have to 're-boot the bl**dy thing, to get it functioning!

Seems to be a lot of DNS errors with Virgin at the moment, they used to be really good but I am now thinking of moving providers as the service quality has fallen right off this last year or so.

Not from where I'm sitting. Absolutely no issues here, still the same rock-solid, quality connection it's always been.

+1. Always on, never fails, always fast. I have had a couple of occasions over the years where the service has gone down, but it was back up in under an hour. If you're having router problems then make sure they provide a Superhub 2, or get a 3rd party router.

Very few issues since nagging them into handing over a SuperHub 2.

Yes, I've started using Googles public DNS servers and that's fixed the issue

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Of course, it means that google know even more about you.

How do you change DNS servers on the superhub, don't have a PC so everything is done through my iPad.

You don't do it on the SuperHub itself, you do it on the device...
