Been looking for a fervent chair for my study now I'm going to be WFH for at least the next few weeks.
Does anyone use a gaming chair? They actually look very comfy with bolstered sides and car like seats but what are they actually like? They seem good value at between 1 and 200 pounds.

As I said at the beginning of this thread, I've got a Secretlab Omega. Reading the number of people who have Titans, I began to wonder if I'd bought the wrong model.

Had another look on their site, and it turns out I haven't got the wrong size, it's just that you lot are all fat bds.

Got the omega myself and use it for about 8 hours a day at present. Love it, very comfy, firm at first but bedding in nicely and has a huge range of adjustability.
Looked at the titan but couldn't see the need for the extra spend.

I’ve always though gaming chairs to be overpriced and overhyped, especially when the vast majority of office workers sit on £100 chairs that are specifically designed for good support and posture for 40+ hours a week

Much better to spend the money on a decent office chair
Disagree completely - bearing in mind gamers aren't shy of spending even longer in the chair than office workers, so decent one will be designed with similar levels of time "in chair" in mind.

For instance, in my properly adjusted office chair at work, I normally start to get a bad back halfway though the afternoon. In my SecretLab at home? Feel fine all the way up to logging off.

YMMV obviously, but I'd recommend a Secret Lab to anyone who spends significant time in front of a computer.
Likewise. The cheap £100 having chairs may be crap but the more premium ones such as my secret labs omega are brilliant. I spend 9 hours a day in mine and find it more comfy than the £800 chairs they have in my office at work.

I've had my Omega for a while now and I love it. I can sit in it 9 am till 11pm supremely comfortable. It is superb! I went black Napa leather.

5'10", 85kg and it's still not a tight fit, so I'm glad I didn't go Titan. Smaller visually too and it's in my lounge.
Pretty much the same as me. Titan would have been too big.
I've had my omega 2 1/2 years now and it's very comfy still. I work from home 4 days a week so use it a lot

Losing the will to live with my Noble Epic chair, just not comfortable enough for me for a full day's work so it's getting sold. Now looking at alternatives, has anyone got any of the Boulies chairs, either the Master or Elite gaming chairs or the Effectual ergonomic chair? I'm about 6' 1" and a little over 15st.
3 years in now on my secret labs omega and I still love it. I WFH 4 days a week and all through lock down. It's also much more comfy for me than the expensive ergonomic things we have in our offices
