I'm ok at powerpoint but not with the clever stuff...is there any way of achieving this:

Easy bit:
slide 1 is a map of Europe. Each country is a hyperlink to a data slide, on the slide sits a return icon.. taking presenter back to map. Sorted so far.

Head scratching bit:
After a country has been viewed, and blob is shown on the main map. The presentation wont be a fixed path through country by country (wouldnt be scratching head is it was) but the presenter could dip into a different selection of countries each time

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

cheers for youe input.. however whatthey want isnt a text based visual clue, they want a graphic. So 1st time you visit the map of Europe, its just a map with no 'map pins' stuck in it. Visit france, come back, hey presto France has now got a pin in it. Had a wee google sesh to see if this was feasible but didnt return anything promising

Graphics as such do not obey the hyperlink change in colour. I think you could in theory write a macro to change the colour (or move the graphic in front of the map), but my macro writing skills are rusty.

Andy.

It's a graphic they're trying to use (some coloured blobs). I've no experience with macros in ppt.. I do have a budy thats pretty hot at this sort of stuff but having trouble contacting him when need him most !!

Prepare to be amamzed.. did understand !! However...

The increasingly tall hurdle is now they want up to 6 different coloured dots per country. Bah.
