Argh, another internet problem.
Discussion
Can anyone help please (putting a bullet through the PC is an option).
The PC "Connects" to the internet, but won't display any pages. It comes up with the DNS screen. It also only transmits about 200 bytes or so? So realistically it isn't actually connecting at all, though it happily tells me it has done so.
It isn't my broadband though as I am able to log on using a spare machine. Don't think it is the modem as it seems happy and has both lights solid when it is plugged in.
Any ideas?

Hmm, if I knew how to do that I maybe could, but part of the problem is that I can only have one PC connected to the internet at any one time, so I can't ping one PC from the other.
Not only that, I assume my IP addy is static, I use Virgin Broadband. I did try and put in a random IP address but it just did the same thing, and I also tried to get it to automatically assign an IP addy and that also failed.

It has obtain IP addy automatically, and I put in a DNS server number...
