I remember reading this on the bus on the way home from school. Guy Kewney reviewed the Sirius 1 and I thought he had the coolest job in the world getting to play with all the latest computers.

It was a cool job, I edited the magazine in the early 1990s but now it is going to close.

Shame.

In my experience they will offer you the choice of a refund or to move your subscription to one of their other magazines.

The first issues were in 1978. I think it was a mistake going from the box cover - the white cover with the photo in a box. They did that just after I started and I was distraught at what they were doing.

the Chimp came about because the editor reviewed the ZX81 and then went on holiday. The staff in the office went for a picture of a chimp and the line "Editor reviews the ZX81".
