W210 / S210 Appreciation

That's a cracker. I had an early high spec 300td estate which I bought for peanuts. Highly underrated car with a wonderful engine in the om606.

I personally love my wagon and even though it is a LHD, I drive it daily back and forth to work, a total of 90 miles everyday, 4 days a week (work from home on Fridays...). It's not the most fuel efficient given the 5.5l gas guzzling lump, but I just love wafting along in it. My commute is a genuine pleasure every single day.

Love it. Unusual to see a white one. The very first AMG I drove was a 210 E55. In 2003 it was really eye-opening. The one I tried was rough, though and I ended up buying C43 later that day. And then another one. But the V8 E Class itch had to get scratched and I'm on my 2nd E500. Have had a 211 and a 212. Very similar formula and character to the 210 E55.

Exactly like the one I test drove. My favourite colour. It's just such a subtle bruiser. I remember the Car test of the 55 vs the XJR and M5. At the time all a bit mental. But very normal-looking. Love cars like that.
