So i'm after a c63, after test driving one and falling in love with the performance and the way it sounded, they dont look too bad either.
My budgets not massive so i can just about get a facelifted car with about 50k on it. I understand the LSD is a must, how much should i be budgeting for one should i not find a car with it in my spec and budget? Where should i take the car to get it done - i am based in Bristol.

I had a evo vi with 360/380 and i felt like i could drive it at 8/10'ths easy due to the 4wd, traction was immense and the handling - the best ive ever had that handles shoddy b road tarmac, i have a feeling the merc will be unsettled on this kinda tarmac, and the evo would leave it in the corners, but the merc reel it back in on straights, i guess the merc will be more fun in the corners rather than precise .Im surprised your scoob was worse on fuel than the Merc !!.
Bought it. Got the coupe. 1 owner from.new fsmh, hk stereo. Black. God it goes some, and is better on fuel than my old evo vi. Plus the rear seats fold down, willing for my bike. Love it so much and am so chuffed, I think my audi caused me so much depression, this is the ultimate car, I feel so lucky to have it. When I can drive it with Tc off I'll consider a diff and remap.

Do you put it in sport TC off, but turning the dial from C > S and then the TC button off on the dash?I love the way it holds onto revs and pops on overrun in M mode.
its comfy, has a great interface and all the toys i wanted in the audi but it never had - and it sounds damned good .

Once you have sport traction on, you can then hold the brake with your left foot and then RS will appear on the gearbox knob past M. Then follow the instructions on the display for launch control. You’ll need an empty, flat bit of road for this but it’s great fun.

So, two weeks on and Im thinking this could do with a pep up, for all its cc's it doesnt go like a stung Rat like my old evo vi with 359 bhp, granted it weighs a good 300 kilos heavier and I'm probably 20 kilos heavier than I used to be, but it doesn't shock or excite me like the evo used to. Msl and gad say 70 hp gain for 1200 or do I just go back to jap land? The engine is a peach but its Just too heavy. Why is the tc on all the time should be on at your request surely? Steering is slightly vague about the straight ahead and has nowhere near as much feel as the evo did.??!! 🤔

A left field suggestion - get a 2010-2012 vintage Audi S4 wagon. 3.0 supercharged V6, exhaust, intake and tune. Slightly less power than your C63 but much more accessible torque and grip.
That’s what I would do...
Otherwise get a hot hatch (Focus RS or similar)
