Advice with Charging W245 B200 with Trickle Charger (2007MY)
Discussion
I know this is a bit of a long shot, as this is quite an old car now and not the most desirable, but I wonder if anyone can help with this.
We have a 2007 B200 Petrol Auto which we've owned for 13 years now, it's a great car and only covered 53,000 miles from new. I won't sell it, as it's almost like new, but we rarely use it, meaning it spends most of it's time just standing.
In order to maintain the battery, (which I recently had to replace due to little use), I'm wanting to connect the car up to a C-TEK Charger. The battery on this model is under the drivers side floor, so I'm wondering, how can I connect it to the charger.
I guess I could trap the cable in the door and connect it to the battery, but I'm not sure if that's ideal - Does anyone know what the best / correct way is to condition the battery on this model is? - Are there any other connection points that I'm not aware of? (can't see anything in the owners manual).
Also, I have a spare C-TEK 5.0 charger here - Would that be suitable?
Many thanks in advance

Thanks 2 sMoKiN bArReLs - That's a good point, I shall check, although I suppose I'm still going to have to trap the C-TEK cable in the door.
Thinking about it, this is probably a stupid question I'm asking...... I do have another car with an external connection point for charging, and another one with a connection point in the boot, although I suspect that's probably unlikely on a B200.
Maybe I should just re-word the question and ask, is it OK to trap a trickle charger cable in a car door?
