E55 fuel consumption & ownership comments?

I fancy an E55 (probably 03-05 year) as, used, they appear to be a lot of car for today's money. Can anyone comment on ownership, things to look out for and expected fuel consumption? Cheers.

I`ve had my E55 estate for nearly a year, running costs are in my profile. Fuel consumption over 20k miles is around 19.5 average. Back tyres only last 7-9k miles and so far its cost around £500 average per service. Preformance wise (in a straight line) havent found any thing that can touch it.

Thanks Marc. What did you spend £3685 on on the first 11 months (apart from, I guess, tyres)?
