Bothered me at first as well but you soon stop noticing it, I'm actually not a big fan of the carbon dash anyway so maybe that helps.

Got busy with a pen today.

If I like it, I’ll do it permanently. I’ll pressure wash it off otherwise.
Personally I just can't decide so haven't done it, is it one step beyond .........I think I might try it in red when I've time, or maybe not laugh
Some do them with the Italian flag colours which I quite like and will probably do on mine when I can be bothered.

So 7 weeks and my car is still being built. Getting impatient now... Lol!

For those that ordered with PP, am I right in thinking you had delays? Is it because they wait for a batch to fit all the diffs together? Thanks.
Not when i ordered mine, although if you have read the full thread you'll know myself and bungle had to wait a while for the factory shut down so it is difficult to say. Mine had the PP his didn't, his arrived a week or two ahead of mine and mine was ordered first... apparently... my dealer was/is a bit st so who knows.

I have the 7" Nav with Carplay, all you do is plug your iOS device into the USB port and it will show the Carplay option on the screen (there isn't an app Carplay is baked into iOS), it's pretty straight forward. If it doesn't work, chances are you don't have Carplay, it was a £150 option when I ordered mine so wouldn't be surprised if not everyone took it.

Thanks to both - even though it was part of the advert, it would appear that mine doesn’t actually have it - they specc’d the large Nav and Beats but didn’t get the CarPlay. Can I get it retro fitted?
To the best of my knowledge, no. I am sure I have seen it on the forums or Facebook groups and its not just a case of a software update but either a physical module or wiring. I could be wrong have a search around as someone may have cracked it by now.

190 and 230lb stock.

219 and 280lb after.

Very crackly now on over run. Not sure how much I like that.
Other than the crackle, happy with the gains?

Does the Biposto Intercooler have a larger surface area over the standard twintercooler setup?

Breathing issues are usually intake related... usually!

See a lot of people dropping in an FMIC smaller than the twins and not really understanding that it’s not really doing what it should but they seem happy enough. A Biposto intake seems like the obvious start to me but I haven’t got around to looking for one or even the cost...

First service completed yesterday, had them check that the BMC had been fitted, I had suspected not as the alloy fuel cap was missing (something I wasn't fussed about as it doesn't lock) sure enough, no BMC!

Emailed the supplying dealer expecting to be told to do one only for the sales guy to reply in 5 minutes flat apologising and offering to have me bring the car in or he would post it out and I can fit it at home. Decided to have it sent to me, gives me an excuse to have a proper look under the bonnet smile

Thoroughly recommend Rockingham Abarth for servicing, knowledgeable, polite and friendly guys and girls, excellent service and a nice showroom.

Yup, I really like it, can't find any info on it though just pics so far! Have a call in to my supplying dealer to see what they can dig out for me, if its just a rebadged comp I'll leave it but if its a bit more then I will get it ordered!

42kg of downforce in top position at 124mph.

Apparently podium blue is an option. Off to the dealer for me.
Issue for me is that it is indeed a comp rebadged and sprayed, slightly different spolier and seats and different colour dont really sell it for me to be honest.
Not even a comp, its a pista/turismo rebadged as it has the 165 engine not the 180, but it gets the diff etc as well. Shame otherwise I would have been at the dealers this afternoon getting one ordered.

ETA - Actually looks like it is a 180bhp not the 165. [sigh] off to the dealers!

My monza has rattled since I collected it but I don't really notice it apart from when I'm doing slow speeds.

Whereabouts is your rattle coming from?
Same here, would appear they all do it.

2018 is the giveaway. Yours will be the spring loaded valve.

Another easy way to check is press the sport button. If the exhaust changes in tone the moment it's pressed then you have the new monza.

If nothing happens at all - yours is the spring loaded one - and you'll then have to check if has seized. To do that, park the back passenger wheel on the kerb and get under her.

You'll see the below behind the left back wheel.

Where is says OPEN in the image is facing forwards and closed is towards the back of the car.

Another image added for clarity.

Mine is a 2018 model and has the vacuum activated valve. It was changed in the second half of 2018 so in theory it could be either. Easiest way to check is actually tailpipe design, if you have these is the spring valve:

If you have these its the vac valve:

This monza opens at idle, closes when you drive off, and reopens again at 3.5k revs, this is due to the backpressure lower down the rev range.
Are you certain about this? Mine sounds no different at 2k than 3.5k with sport mode on.

In other news my BMC panel filter arrived the other day, fitted it in and have done a couple of hundred miles on it, I have to say it does actually make a very marginal difference to the way it picks up and pulls (no longer seems to flat spot at 5.5k) the turbo also seems a little louder as well. They also sent me the fuel cap, have decided to leave it off though as it isn't lockable as cool as it looks. I might fit it for shows and stuff though.

Valve or spring for yours? If its spring and sounds no different. It might be seized!

If its the sport - maybe you arent noticing it... I can hear the difference between my brothers 2019 comp and my 2017 trofeo. .
Valve, put it into sport then off you go, sounds the same at 2k as well as 3.5k when in spot mode, doesn't sound like the valve shuts to me and it is definitely much quieter out of sport mode.

Mine is still going well. The exhaust rattle is getting on my nerves and seems to be getting a bit worse. I might well see if I can a local owner to compare it to, I know they suffer from it but I’m sure it’s much worse now. Waiting for the weather to improve so I can go out and check all the pads etc
