Thanks ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
I previously had two 145 Cloverleaf models (one red, one mint black example - sold to Philip on here), a 147 GTA when they very first came out, plus a new GTV back in the day. My favourite older Alfa was the 145. It was great fun, raw, just a hoot.
This new Mito is great fun with sharp steering and lots of turbo shove (for a small car). But it is also very easy to live with - quiet (turbo woosh aside), comfy, lots of toys, great MPG. I got a semi bargain compared to the new owner. Mine is at 18k miles, still under warranty, about half retail price, came with the optional £4k seats fitted for hardly any extra. A great used buy overall so I'm happy so far.

...two owners from new (one being an Alfa OC guy from Bristol way, the other his nephew), original bill of sale £17,883 loads of history including a £2,000+ suspension and engine overhaul in August of this year. All the hand books, keys and new tyres.
£570
£17,313 depreciation in twelve years?![yikes](/inc/images/yikes.gif)
I'll be able to afford a 4C in a few months.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)

I feel for the guy as the car has been so well looked after all her life but due to the age, mileage, colour (even though I think 400B is the best colour the GTV came in) and the popularity of the Spider (try finding a decent Spider Ts Lusso for under £1,500) mean the GTV's are a bargain right now. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I was looking for a Punto HGT or another Fiat Coupe but so glad I got the Alfa.![woohoo](/inc/images/woohoo.gif)
The only issue I have is where the stereo was fitted it nipped a wire to the heater fan causing a fuse to blow. This fuse was replaced by a higher amp one (30 instead of a 10?) and the loom cooked a bit and the fuse box has melted around it causing the rear heated screen to fail as well. Not the end of the world and a weekends worth of work stripping the dash, replacing burned wires and making new fuse holders a some point she'll be perfect again.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Lovely, well done. I adore Spiders. Even when they are yellow:![](https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3934/15463313701_6bb625fa7d_c.jpg)

Lovely cars: easy to drive - be carefull with 2nd gear - and quick enough.

Most prefer the Duetto. But the later models do please me more. The fuel injected cars broaden the engines powerband which I prefer.
I'm not the only gay in the village!

The car at the rear is a 1973 1600 GT Junior owned by a guy who lives a half mile away! What are the chances of there being 2 classic Bertone GT's in one small village?
