This car has such huge potential (dare I say what the Miata is to Mazda, the 4C could be to Alfa?), that I hope they get it right quickly and don't lose momentum.

I always thought the original F Type could have done the same thing for Jaguar--then they waited a decade for it to hit the streets--with an automatic transmission.

There's been a presentation from the Head of Brand saying the launch models are going to be over £50,000. There has been no memo or mention of £35,000

To keep discussion alive, what are you expecting from the reveal other than horsepower figure? I think the aesthetics are known at this point but some reported small changes to the concept in camo cars spotted on the road.

Soft top? I've heard no mention of a Spider version... Have you heard otherwise?

Does anyone know if the 4C will be a limited production run, similar to the 8C? ie, do I need to place an order right now?

Have you seen the interior shots on the GG thread, not a fan of that low redline, would have like a couple of hundred more rpms!

It is mean't to be a limited production rate run. I.e. they will keep making them, but only so fast.

Also I thought it was 2000, although perhaps that was going to be the final number of 1000 hard tops, 1000 spiders?

Wouldn't be surprised if the above numbers aren't more or less as many as the number of GTV's produced?
