MPS4S (not MPS4) would work fine in all but the worst of our winter weathers, far better than the Corsas. Certainly had no issues with the Michelins myself.
Thanks for info, do you run the mps4s in the summer as well? Was you impressed with the Corsa’s in the dry warm ish weather ? Edited by firethorne on Sunday 16th June 20:27

I ran Corsas for the whole of 2017 and up to June of 2018 when the track finally melted them off. They are great on the road, in the warmer weather. Get them cold and wet and they are sketchy. Get them very cold and wet and they can get near dangerous. I'm on my second set of MPS4S now and they are 99% as good in the dry, 100x better in the wet and drivable in the cold and wet. They are far more durable too and some owners are seeing 30k+ miles range. They don't melt on track either, which was the problem I had with the Corsas. There's also a new Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport coming out in August which I know some owners have already had delivered from abroad so that's another option looking forward. Can't rate the Michelins highly enough though Edited by firethorne on Sunday 16th June 20:27

In the UK in the last 2 weeks we've had a lot of rain and I have had to use A mode on my QV with the Corsa tyres. Yesterday on the M4 I could feel my QV feeling unstable on the heavily wet motorway. I really wanted to keep the Corsa tyres on for the summer before switching to the Goodyear SuperSport and potentially real winter tyres if we have bad snow and low temperatures. I have my Michelin PS4S on my Focus RS and know how amazing these tyres are in the wet. The only reason for selecting the Goodyear is that they are available in the correct sizes for the QV.ShahGQV said:

Really? I found the Corsas to be fine in the wet when the temp is 10c or above. It's when it's wet and cold the Corsas usually struggle. Are they worn?BlackPorker said:

My wet benchmark is the Michelin PS4S on my Focus RS, the QV is not as confident in heavy wet. I agree temperature plays a role. I have had wet conditions when the Corsa were fine but yesterday on parts of the M4 I felt the QV slide around a bit. ShahGQV said:

After 5500 great mile, it let me down big time today. About 30 warnings lights came on, lost power steering put me into lump home mode and give it its due got me back to my office. Great start to the customer service, with Mechanic out within 50 minutes, Established it was a wheel sensor so needed to get collected . Collected within the hour, good conversation with the guys at Tunbridge Wells told him I need is a courtesy car by four. And that’s where the good bit ends, still without the courtesy car, and a lot of finger-pointing between two departments, seriously pissed off with this bit, much more than the car letting me down . So looks like it’s the corvette for the weekend! Thank god the sun is shining!

Sounds a bit of a disaster. Hope you got it all sorted int he end.Any other 'niggles' to be aware of ?
So... I now have my car back . The issue was actually the power steering, electrically it failed and they sent a load of warnings that put the car into limp home mode and sent them on a bit of a bum steer when trying to diagnose the issue . After being totally let down by the courtesy car from Alpha direct, Tunbridge Wells stood up and help me out, getting me a Fiat 500 4x4 thingyTo get me out of trouble and then follow that up the following day with a Stelvoi.
A little disappointing, that the first power steering unit that turned up was damaged, but I got it back on Thursday, first drive on Friday found out the steering wasn’t tracked properly, once again bit disappointed as this is a bit of a schoolboy error, so it was picked up yesterday and brought back to me at the end of the play running and now also driving back perfect again .
I get these things can happen, the tracking was just a stupid error that has made the experience a bit more disappointing, the issue now is is that mentally I’m waiting for it to break down, I want to balance that with I’ve had an Audi A4 that they had to keep for four months because of an electrical issue they could never find, and I’ve had an A5 the left me on the side of the road with a water pump I gess these things can happen, the tracking was just a stupid error that has made to experience a bit more disappointing, the issue now is that mentally and waiting for it to break down.
If the question is do I wish I’d never brought it? The answer is definitely at this stage no way, I absolutely love the car and if this is the only problem I have with it then I’m good. Let’s just hope this isn’t the first of a few.
Written by voice command, so apologies for any strange words

Mine just popped over 21,000 miles at the weekend. Not a thing to report.
I've read that the car can 'pop' itself out of Race from time to time.2k for a new carbon splitter if needed is lumpy
I should know this as I owned one for 6 months...but what happens if it does break down? Do you call a central number and they take it to nearest dealer who will fix and get it back to you, or do you have to sort things out with dealer you purchased from?
I don’t have a dealer nearby, which is probably biggest issue for ordering another one.
