I was thinking about this, yes the deal is great but it wont suit everybody. It suits me specifically because I don't need the car anytime soon (actually more convenient having the 6month+ lead time). The car also has a limited market, not many people consider leasing mid engined rwd 2 seaters let alone somewhat controversial cars like the 4C!

Every person I told just googled it and said that TG/Autocar etc give it 3 stars or whatever. I'm sat here like oh but its a beautiful mid engined rear wheel drive turbo charged carbon fibre chassis beast! "Only got a 1.7 4 cyl though"...I need new friends haha.

The deal is not advertised anymore so looks unlikely they will take any more! Fingers crossed they can still honour the existing ones.

Like all Alfa's lots of people won't even look at them! I actually didn't need a new car until next March - but it was a deal not to be missed.

Bolt relaxation is time dependant not mileage.
I know what you mean, but after doing copious research from the 4C forum, I decided that the bolts were unlikely to be loosening appreciably as the car was relaxing under a cover. Next service is likely to be 1800ish miles so I'll be going the full hog then.

As per my earlier post I'm guessing dealers are chasing a bonus for selling X number cars, therefore they can discount them below cost and chase the bonus cheque, if deals are now being pulled they may have reached the target. Someone has said they won't order until June, that may be a safety thing to ensure they hit numbers . I'm just speculating of course. For those who get one you will love it

Can we have some more positivity now please y'all making me nervous. Thanks.

Sooooooooooo.... What exhaust are you guys putting on yours!? I test drove one with the race exhaust and it sounded amazing. Ours will be quieter though. Only UK option looks to be the AlfaWorks Quicksilver Supersport exhaust for £480? http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/parts/4C_Exhausts.sh...

I love these, and want to own a 4C one day, but it would be a second car only. I think you're all barking mad wanting to run one as a daily laugh - no powered steering, no adjustable seat position, no internal storage anywhere, having to remove a panel and 4 screws to fill up the screen wash - but fair play to those that are going for it, hope you enjoy. Gorgeous cars. thumbup

I'm guessing you mean height adjustment? It can be done manually with tools.

I'm pretty sure the seat goes forward and back... got me worried now, being 5ft 4 I hope I can reach the pedals! Can anyone who's test driven it confirm?

I was pretty amazed by the seat position, the steering wheel moves towards you unlike the new mx-5

Clarkson the Ape-man certainly loves the 4C - great video vs.the Corvette to Rome. If he can fit in the car and be comfortable I'm pretty sure most people can :-)

Seat is height adjustable but it's a bolted fixed adjustment. Dealer should fit you to the car or the car to you depending how you see it. Car should not be delivered until that's done . Backward / forward adjustment is via a lever . It's all to do with weight saving, a height adjustment mechanism adds weight .

To all those waiting you are in for a treat. It's a fantastic, raw, immersive car that isn't for everyone. It's not perfect but it has character (I know, typical thing to say about an Italian car but it's so much more fun than a 911 or Cayman). Kept mine for close to 2 years (longest I've kept a car in 10 years) and never missed a beat and always was an event to drive.

The handling is an experience, feedback is fantastic. It is lively but let it run and trust it. I had the geo work done by Alfaworks and was worth the money. I did 12,000 miles in total and 11k of those were as standard. I don't wish I had the geo work earlier, but I did the exhaust - please please please fit the Alfaworks exhaust. Makes such a massive difference, the race exhaust is painful at motorway speeds. The AW/quicksilver exhaust removes this almost completely.

As car it's probably 3.5 stars. As an event, a reason to go out and drive, to make you smile it's 5 stars. A Cayman or a 911 might get there quicker but I always thought I would be smiling more. And dear god is it drop dead stunning to look at.

Still miss it.

Thsi is my favourite review of the 4C so far - Rory Reid selling his granny's kidneys:

The Daily Mail were unimpressed with his review.

Git. I want mine back now. Still, the Giulia QV should help when that gets picked up on Monday smile

Absolutely gutted I've missed out, had an email from Lauren saying the deal has ended, can't seem to find any others close to the value this had either.
Contacted a few dealers around me who wouldn't entertain the offer

Usually a quote is not sufficient to guarantee a car.
Did you sign an order form?
