brake pads .. help needed, please
Discussion
well no-one said they were interested, but here it is anyway.
The EBC RedStuff Ceramic pads I've got in are now nicely bedded in, and I can say, hand on heart, that they are without doubt the best I've ever had.
Stopping power feels to be almost double what it was on the Brembo pads, there's far more feel so you can modulate braking force, and despite my best efforts and blue and smoking discs, I haven't found any fade yet.
Anyone get anything to add?

They're only as good as your tyres, so I guess its the inital bite and easy modulation that's making them feel so much better...
Agreed without question ... so this must be an endorsement for Continental ContiSportContact 1s
( which imho are better than the 2s )
The brembo pads never got anywhere near troubling the tyres in the dry.
Glad you got them sorted, they are pretty impressive. I have to admit when I first fitted them I was pretty sceptical and the first couple of lazy stops did nothing to make me feel otherwise. Once they were properly bedded in and I took it for a good country lane blast such that the temps stayed reasonable I was completely converted. If you brake in a way that is even moderately comfortable for your passenger you will always have plenty in reserve just in case you've misjudged it. Just got to see what the wear rates are like now.
