Yes through unity. I have sent a worried e-mail to them.
Been watching videos and reading the owners manual since I ordered!
Haha same, also been through most of the stuff on the 4C forum!

Let us know if you receive a reply.

I've not heard anything, like others I've paid a deposit but do not have any written confirmation only the quotation. Not sure what to think - really want a 4c now, like everyone else spent quite a bit of time looking at reviews and getting all excited about the prospect of owning one!

Did anyone that had paid the 1k deposit get any confirmation today that their deal is still going ahead? If Alfa has pulled Unity's dealer contribution I wonder if these will still be honoured?

What am I missing here ?

People seem mad keen to spend £10k to rent a car for two years.

£10,000 !!!
What is you current vehicle and how is it funded? The benefits of leasing have been discussed many times.
i have been lucky enough to have bought the last couple with cash.

I have owned an Alfa and I see the appeal of the 4c, don't get me wrong it is a good looking car, it is just seems a lot of money to have nothing at the end of the two years.

I lost the same money buying a GT with cash and owning for 2 years. You are doing well if you can buy a £55k car and sell/trade it in it 2 years later for £45k. Obviously if you keep it longer then it would soften the blow, but for lots of us 2 years is long enough to keep a car.

Not only that. Nobody seems to buy these cars privately, and so you have to take trade price which will be significantly less than 45k. Also, for £10k you can do 20k miles in it! Good luck selling a 4c with 20k miles on for 45k!

I got the deal through CVL and had an email this morning confirming the order and Sept delivery. I paid my deposit to Unity directly on Saturday am - although I was only asked to pay £500 not £1k like everyone else?? Maybe I'm special....!

CVL told me there was a pricing error as a reason for the deal as someone else was told, but Unity explained as a book value increase in glasses guide. Maybe that was the error??

If they don't honour this deal I'm going to be gutted as I cancelled my new Beemer and lost my deposit to get into this!!!

Yea my local dealer who couldn't price match only wanted £500 too. Not sure why Unity want 1k.

Please just PM people that ask. So many people signing up is probably why Unity has had to stop. Many thanks =)

You also need to factor in the lease price will rise if you spec the car up from the base model, you can't theoretically modify a lease car, any damage at the end of the lease you will need to repair or be charged for, a couple of kerbed wheels and some heavy scratches if you get them can be costly . It's a myth to think you can hand it back after 2 years having abused it.

I'm not sure who's said the car can be abused, but there is a fair wear and tear document that clearly sets out the costs, which to my eyes is often very reasonable.
