How did you find that dealer? They often have interesting cars that I like the look of but have never got around to visiting
On balance pretty good. He does source some really nice Alfas. They were a long way from me but we both managed to meet half way at another of his customer's house as he had business there. That was worth the trip in itself but that's another story. He also took my old Range Rover from me; not for his forecourt but he knew somebody who'd be happy tinkering with it. I drove back home with a guy who works for him and we had a good chat. We arrived at mine, had a coffee and then he set off for the 5 hour drive home.
PM me and I'll give you my unedited opinion.
I have got to stop looking at this thread.
I drive a sensible Duster that cost peanuts, and costs little to run. It's all I really need so why have I got a hankering for Versuvio Grey with black grill and veloce in black as well, with red leather, aluminium gear change paddles and 280 hp whilst I'm surrounded by speed bumps and 20mph zones?
Not helped by the fact that I can actually get more than I paid brand new for my Dacia a year ago.

I’ve had back in the day an Alfa 155 and 159. The wife had a Mito. All great reliable cars. It sounds like it’s your time to get an Alfa.
