I'm heading down to Sussex next week. I might see if I can get a ride in their demo
Get a passenger ride in Jamie's car, I'm not a great passenger so didn't experience the full "A505" madness but it was enough for me to leave there and cancel any plans to buy an Exige 350 ...MellowshipSlinky said:

I think the black roof will suit tours with the darker rims and mirrors. I've seen a few with this mod and i'd be inclined to do mine if my wheels and mirrors weren't silver.
Are you planning any other mods? I'm quite interested in the Alfaworks blocks, exhaust and ecu. They seem good value and the reports are very good.
I'll certainly look to the Alfaworks stuff when I've used the car for a bit.Are you planning any other mods? I'm quite interested in the Alfaworks blocks, exhaust and ecu. They seem good value and the reports are very good.
Not sure which exhaust it has on it but it didn't appear particularly boomy, and I didn't really notice the catastrophic tram lining either..

Hope you’re right...
Is there anyway to find out the spec using the VIN?
Defo race exhaust. Looking at the pics of the car I can't be sure if the lights/mirrors are carbon? It's got transmission cooler intake (mine hasn't) so I suspect it is well spec'd. You can't load much on them really - leather dash? leather/alcantara seats (more expensive than all leather option!). I suspect cruise fitted being a '67. Full front PPF was an option above standard sill and half door coverage. Bigger wheels you've got and hopefully you've not got race suspension which, other than the very hard ride, comes with Pirelli race spec tyres. Is there anyway to find out the spec using the VIN?
Make sure you get the indoor cover and cleaning kit.
I'm sure there is a way of checking the spec from the VIN or Reg via an Alfa dealer. However finding one that will actually answer the phone and do it is another thing!

PPF on the whole front end, but it’s started to slightly lift on one corner of the bonnet which I’ll get sorted myself.
There was no mention of race pack in the description, just ‘luxury pack’ (?), but I’m not sure the dealer really knew much about the options on it.

Yes, an Alfa dealer can get the full spec via Fiat ePer or you can get it here:http://www.pekidi.com/navi?FORCED=TRUE&COUNTRY...

It's quite an old database, go to dealer they should be able to give you full spec.
Just called Beechdale - all the info they had was what you *could* have as optional, not what it actually has.Gave me the number for AR CS - they can't give me details unless I'm the registered owner with the V5C number...
Sounds to me it's got all the extras you can get? PPF fitting by the factory is not good. Trained by Stevie Wonder I suspect.
I'd be interested to hear what AR CS can send back to you. I asked about the build sheet for mine and unsurprisingly I'm still waiting for the main dealer to send it to me - 6 months after buying it! Obtaining this info is clearly outside the reach of even main dealers it would appear.

LE car at CarSpy now sold.
There's a few highly priced cars around - private 2014 one for £42k although only done 1k miles
Platts red coupe at £48k seems well over the top considering mine is £10k less and has a higher spec (okay, and 5k miles more, but I'd rather save £20k...!)
Some bizarre pricing around

I am living over in Spain just south of Barcelona. I have been saving for a year now and hope to have enough wonga by about January 2019....however just like the UK the prices of 4C's over here seem to be rising and the number of available cars is dropping week by week - makes me sad. I'm kinda getting worried that by the time I have the money saved up they will be out of reach price wise. Bloody hope they don't go 8C price crazy!!!!
So for us potential buyers fingers crossed things slow down over the winter...….!
