Can I be a cheeky bloke and ask how much the respray was?
It's been done with the help of a mate and a pal of his who was doing a bit of moonlighting to help keep the cost down. I'd rather no say how much I spent, however it was an absolutely bargain to get this car looking respectable again. Trying again because I am an idiot…

Here's my heavily modified Q2. I bought it in 2017 with a snapped belt, rebuilt it and now use it as a test bed for ideas.
There're a couple of other Alfas in the shed too, but they're waiting for total rebuilds. Sheds in the shed!
Oof, love the white wheels. There're a couple of other Alfas in the shed too, but they're waiting for total rebuilds. Sheds in the shed!
2006 facelift two litre over here: what should I do to the spring / damper setup?
I love an A110 feel and I won't go too low. Currently on 17" (GTV) Tristars 215/45 Pilot Sports.

Thanks...... Suspension? Depends what you do with the car and how much £ you want to spend. I'd say avoid coilovers unless you're going to spend decent money as there's a lot of junk out there which will be worse than standard. I'm running Eibach sport springs and Koni sport dampers with Eibach ARBs. Drop is only 30mm. The dampers are adjustable for rebound but I've also re-shimmed them to soften compression a little. Works well on road and track. Stiffer ARBs are a must I'd say, they can transform the handling and even start to bring a bit of oversteer when wanted.2006 facelift two litre over here: what should I do to the spring / damper setup?

That said, the best money you could spend on yours, unless it's already fitted, would be a Q2 diff. Totally different car with/without.
