BTW, Is the new Fulvia definitely a dead duck? What would be the reasoning behind abandoning the idea?

The concept Fulvia is definately 'off'. Euro regs killed it.

Lancia is run by technicians and they are good . . . but slow . . . and lack a sense of reality. Damn shame.

New Delta is based on the Grande Punto. Which will be the starting point for a bunch of new exciting stuff.

Maybe not! In November's evo, Sergio Marchionne is quoted as saying "We never said we wouldn't make it. The next project after the HPE is a model that will appear like the Fulvia. Stay tuned - you will be pleasantly surprised."
