First sight I thought that was for target practice after a few beers........but if you want a good track to test it, why not Snetterton? The new 300 circuit is a blast......
I know I've been testing Police cars on it. wink

Yes you can blame me for three counties using the Focus ST Estate. cop

Speaking of testing I have been looking at side light bulbs.

Original bulb, single LED and multi-LED.

Bulb...

Single LED...

Multi-LED.

And the winner is...

...no surprise really. smile

Time for more cider induced eBaying. There's an Alfa 155 in London under £200 at the moment. wink

Thanks to David Beckham retiring...

...I have more gutter tabloid to put to good use.

The problem with blue paint is the inconsistency in the pigment making it nearly impossible to mix the same colour twice.

Bugger! Due to this bluer blue I had to spray the whole car. Sadly I didn't have enough time before the damp evening air set in so the final finish is...

...more duff than Guff. rolleyes

I'll give it a couple of weeks and polish it a bit to some kind of finish. I can't blow any more budget on paint and I'm trying to make the car as light as possible so another Kilo of Cellulose won't be helpful.

If you'd had orange bumpers she would have noticed you, and not rammed you.

I drove all the way through Pandemonium City last night, and all the way back again, for a meeting at the Lynn end. Ddn't spot the light blue wonder. Now, if it had had orange bumpers I might have stood a chance.

On the way back from work this morning the Fantasia sounded a little rough and kept trying to cut out at junctions.

I had a screw loose and that explained the cutting out but not the lumpy throttle response.

The screws had fallen into one of the spark plug pots.

A little glue on the threads and I'm off to the seaside. wink

I couldn't hold the throttle and get get duct tape in there.

Random picture from work...

...even night shift at a crap factory has its moments. smile

They'd look great on the Fantasia and from previous experience suit the car a lot better than the later Cinquecento, Seicento sporting wheels. smile

The original had a spring; loctite appears to be working just fine but the dreaded flat spot has returned with a vengeance. rolleyes

One of the issues I have with my Panda are the Goodyear Eagle NCT2 tyres. They are brilliant (in my opinion the best all round 13 inch tyre you can buy) but wasted on standard wheels. I've been after a set of phase ones for ages as they are the easiest to balance, look good silver, black, gunmetal or mirror polished and are period to the car. For £40 they are a bloody bargain and I get to drive the snake pass to get them. wink

NCT2's? Probably the best tyre Goodyear ever produced, but it must be at least 15 years since they stopped making them!

Shirley thats got shipping company written all over it!

Been reminising about uni cars with a mate on face book today, the Bianca came up in conversation and apparently was held in quite high regard by people other than me...who knew!

It's not just miles, it's years; I wouldn't drive on fifteen-year-old tyres!

They're fine. Thank you for your concern though.

Yesterday was brilliant and bks. Brilliant because I got to drive on one of the best roads in the UK. The A6 between Derby and Stockport in parts are knows as the Cat and Fiddle. Even though like the Snake Pass (my original route) it's fun Police fifty zone now (the reason I avoided the Snake Pass) the road is still a little roller coaster with picture postcard views. At fifty I didn't need to brake at all so it added to my 378 miles with only five and a half Gallons of petrol.

68.8 mpg (with five alloy wheels with even older tyres in the back for the latter part)

Why would anyone want to buy a Prius?

Here's a little Panda fact for you; because the spare wheel is in the front with the rear seat folded you have the loading space the same size as a Europallet.

As demonstrated with a set of five alloys and a sub-box (I only fitted it to see if it works, it does; and I haven't got the shed space to store it anywhere else, honest).

I'd like to apologise to all the Entomologists who may have observed a decline in population overnight.

wink

Good deal on the wheels if they are straight, the design reminds me slightly of a Merc wheel
