Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio - Anyone Ordering One

Ex manufacturer car wouldnt overly worry me but I would use the knowledge to try and knock down the price.
If it’s been well used any niggles should have been found and fixed and if it comes with a guarantee it reduces worries , if it has been abused that’s more likely to show on the state of the interior so I would look more for cosmetic and accident damage than worry about the mechanicals
Funny you should say that.If it’s been well used any niggles should have been found and fixed and if it comes with a guarantee it reduces worries , if it has been abused that’s more likely to show on the state of the interior so I would look more for cosmetic and accident damage than worry about the mechanicals
The front bumper looked a slightly different shade. I though it was the gloomy sunlight playing tricks on my eyes at first. Then I noticed the towing eye cover not sitting right, and then the bonnet shut line looked slightly off where it meets the bumper at the front. Only ever so slightly but once i'd seen it my eye was constantly drawn to it. Not the best pic below but you can make out what I mean.
As there was a "sold" sign in the window, I didn't bother the dealer for the key to have a look on the inside. But from what I could see it looked immaculate.

I test drove a Quatrofoglio earlier this week. It did not disappoint ! I might buy a new one now, instead of my first plan, i.e to buy one first registered to the main dealer and then offered at a reduced price.
Check out new leasing figures. They are still criminally good value.Believing that there must be more Giulia QV's out there than I had already found, I accessed Carwow today. I learned of about another five. Four of the dealers offered discounts no better than the prices I have found via Autotrader etc, and one offered no discount at all.
It makes me wonder how these brokers work ?
I did learn one thing though. - the standard colour range for QV's is wider than I thought. In addition to the existing white, red, black, blue and grey, it is possible to obtain both silver and maroon.
Indeed, I then went to my local main dealer to look at the silver paint option ( it is the same silver as available on Mitos and other Alfas ) only to find a maroon QV parked on their forecourt being offered for sale ! Perversely, this car has never appeared in any of the very many searches I have conducted looking for a QV, despite it being brand new and not just bought in.
Unhappily, I waited twenty minutes to find a salesman, and then bumped into a guy wanting to buy a standard Giulia. When he told me that he had already been waiting for thirty minutes before I arrived, we both buggered off.

Are they? On contracthireandleasing they appear to be around £700 without options; am I looking in the wrong place? My £80k M5 was £648 a month.
I’ve heard bmw are offering big discounts on some cars , your lease may be good if the lease co got a sizeable discount and won’t have paid anything like 80k for it .mjw0321 said:

Not sure what your mileage is, but a guy from my gym has just got one at under £600/mth, only on 8k per year though.
Another friend bought one over summer and paid £51k for it, brand new, dealer stock. (Traded in his 2016 M3 plus chump change). May be the old model but that is a HUGE amount of car for the money. I was tempted.

Dealers are st. But then, majority of dealers are going downhill significantly.
My local Alfa dealer was initially great, then became st. Hence why they didn't get my custom.
I ended up using a dealer 80 miles away, and would recommend them hugely. Chris Variava.
I've contacted them. They were helpful beyond belief !My local Alfa dealer was initially great, then became st. Hence why they didn't get my custom.

I would tread warily around a car of that vintage.
If you go for it then make absolutely sure that the following have been done:
1 - All latest versions of software updates 6116/7/8 have been applied.
2 - That the turbo wastegate valves have been checked and/or replaced
3 - That the fuel pump software update has been applied.
Thanks for the heads-up!If you go for it then make absolutely sure that the following have been done:

2 - That the turbo wastegate valves have been checked and/or replaced
3 - That the fuel pump software update has been applied.

Do you know where I can obtain info on these problems ? They clearly were significant enough for Alfa to have to remedy them and I would like the dealer supplying mine ( when I buy one shortly ) to think that I know what I'm talking about.

Re the above. Do you know any of the following ? It'd be really helpful if you do. Thanks.
A. Were these points the subject of a recall by Alfa ?
B. Could it be assumed that any QF offered for sale by a main dealer would have had these points remedied ?
C. Could it also be assumed that QF's registered after a certain month would automatically have had these points corrected at the factory or dealer ?
Cheers,
Rosanne.

They even drove over a 4C for me to see if it’d fit in my garage, no obligation.
Back to the lease - what happens regards warranty on the 4th year?
I’ve only ever had a 36 month one, and 47 just seems too long for me.
