Although I haven't used them to date, I've heard very good things about Alfa Aid so will be taking my car to them to get it serviced as soon as it's mobile again.

I had another look at this one yesterday, only online not showroom.
It is online, just not on their site or AT https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1213244
I'm so so torn over it. I would take it tomorrow, but it's just not practical enough for my needs; and that's what painful.

I really don't get the Cup.
Yes the Bodykit looks quite nice, but it's a Zender Body Kit that can be fitted to any GTV, and was to some before the Cup came out.
Then there is the seats which are part cloth and not full leather like the nice Lusso spec of the standard GTV.
But most of all the price, you pay practically twice the price for a car that is mechanically identical to a 3.0 24V GTV.
So for me the best buy by far is a GTV 3.0 24 with lots of upgrades and receipts for about £7k or maybe less.
There are some really nice ones advertised in the owners club and Facebook.
I have a 916 V6 Spider which although Dynamically a bit soft is a lot of fun for the under £5k I bought it for.
If the cup was mechanically different then maybe it would be worth it, but it's not at all to me.

And I'm seeing him tomorrow (assuming he's there). My 'G' is in for a service.
So I'll be (for the umpteenth time) salivating over the GTV

And sadly Julian was not there. Which I guess in some respects is a good thing .... otherwise:
1: I'd still be there now
2: I'd have paid for the GTV .......
I bought a Proteo Red with red leather 156 v6 from them about 16 years ago, along with most of the shelf of dreams behind the counter...1: I'd still be there now
2: I'd have paid for the GTV .......
