Picking up a MY18 Abarth 595 later today
Discussion
I am picking this up later today for the missus. She only passed her test 5 years ago and the first car she got was a Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge. It was brand new but sadly had to go after 9 months when we found out she was expecting Stupeo Junior 2. She cried when she sold that car and has always wanted another - but I always found the 1.2 under powered and dangerous on inclines etc. Hoping the 595 will be a lot more fun and the test drive certainly was.
Whats the running in procedure on these cars?

Nice car. Congrats.
I just did exactly the same. Bought one last week (also picked up on the 10th) for my wife as I felt the 1.2 is underpowered. Same colour and a very similar reg (ZZA)
I asked them to pop the standard wheels on though as those multispokes added £20pm to the pcp and they aren't worth almost £1000 over the course of the finance.
I must admit, I really am impressed with these little cars. The response in 2nd in Sport mode is amazing and it could easily keep up with my GT V6 in the corners.

We originally bought one for my misses but I couldn't leave it alone, we used to fight over the keys! I changed my 330i BMW for an Alfa 3.2 159 hoping it would have the same Italian flair but no, no where near. Eventually I upgraded to a new 180 comp and told the misses she could have whatever she wanted, a 1 series BMW as it turned out but at least the Abarth is mine now!
