The family ran a silver Mirafiori Sport in the early 1980`s following a succession of slightly left field Italian cars including a bright orange 132 , Lancia beta coupe and Alfa Sprint .
Has anyone got one on here ; I`ve been looking for a while now and it seems the tin worm has probably claimed most of them .
If memory serves correct , they had 115 bhp but ran rings around the competition like the RS2000 because of the new fangled Pirelli P6 tyres .
Any information gratefully received .

I suggest you try the sporting fiats club as they have more than a few owners in their membership but be warned that those cars are becoming very popular all of a sudden and demand seems to far outstripping supply.

SFC is at www.sfconline.org.uk/

I've got a gearbox sitting under the bench in the garage for one of these. It's know ast the Abarth box because of the short remote. Doesn't have a bell housing but otherwise OK.
I've also got an adapter plate that adapts Fiat T/C bellhousing to Ford T9 box for kit cars etc.

Currently chasing down a 1 owner, 40k mile 132 (1600 TC), early chrome bumper model. Cannot be many of those left - pics expected any moment, I'll post one or two if it's any good!

Seem to remember we had 2 - a silver one and a blue one. The blue one may have been borrowed, though.

Didn't FIAT sell off the tooling to Lada or Skoda eventually?

That was the 124, I think, to Lada...Most now just a series of holes, held together with rust.
