Hi all

Seems if the outside temp is anything more than 20ish degrees the air-con struggles to keep the interior cool. The temperature dial needs to be set to it's coldest setting which (if in Auto mode) means the fan's blowing for all its worth.

Is this a case of "they all do that, Sir", or is it time to get the air-con re-gassed?

Hmmm, don't really want to waste £80-odd on a re-gas if it's not going to help.

Still, guess I won't know unless I get it done

The climate control in my 15 year old 300ZX is superb. I guess that's Italian "character" for you.

Blimey, who ya using and where are you based?

BTW, hitting the recirculate button improves matters quite a bit. Makes sense I 'spose, but I don't have to do that with my 300ZX.

I am amazed at the difference using the air "re-circulate" button makes. It's certainly makes it much more pleasant

I think one of the biggest problems is that the central air vents in the middle of the dash as so darn small. If only they were the same size as the two in the back!

The 159 is much better in this repect

OK, I get your point.

What I meant was I've never had to use the recirculate feature in any other cars with air-con in order to get better chillin'.
