Help Me Please!! GTV 2.0 TS Misfire

Out in my car last night, GTV 2.0 TS, I gave it some beans in 2nd around a roundabout and up to 6k rpm. When I changed up it stuttered a bit and then as I turned in to a side road it started to misfire badly.

When I stopped I gave it a rev and it was very consistant as if one cylinder was not firing at all, but non of the dash lights have come on?

I have called PeakAlfa this morning but they can't fit it in until the end of next week

Has anybody had a similar experience? or got any advise they can give me?

Also does anyone know of any other good Alfa mechanics in the High Peak / Stockport area?

Unfortunately I haven't topped up the oil since i got the car 3 weeks ago, I have been checking it though ;o)

I'll have a look at the plug area tomorrow morning to see if I can find any problems there, as I can't get in at a garage with diagnostic kit before Tuesday I need to try something.
