Looking to buy and need to know what issues there are that I should be aware of with selespeed, are they better than manual, more prone to failure, how do they work etc?

Hey, easy tiger, I said I'm looking at 156s I don't know anything about selespeed, is it a preselect, paddle, boggo auto? I don't particularly want an auto but they outnumber the available manuals that's all
