Dear VMaxxers,

Have had a relatively last minute date come up (Sunday June 20th), have mailed most vmaxers & filled most spaces but have a possibility of 10 spaces up for grabs.

Could any DRIVERS who want to come pls email me asap with the subject "VMAX V". Cost will be £150 per car and the day will run as it always does, roughly 9.30 till 4.30, approx 10-20 runs each (in reality probably at least 20), electronic timing equipment etc etc.

Spectators in cars which are paying&running only at this stage please as I have a couple of issues I need to address first. (Had a few problems last time which I need to avoid)

I'm definitely gonna try and make it to my first Pistonheads event- especially having read the last reports and the list of exotica already lined up...!

Sadly, won't be participating as i'd rather not get a pasting in my 330....LOL. Although I think my GSX-R600 would put in a better showing..

What's the protocol(!) about passenger rides? I'd love to be co-pilot in anything rapid on the day!

Reading Craigs first post, I think it's drivers and passengers in paying cars only i.e no non-driving cars will be allowed into the venue (which is accessed via security gate).....................

Doh.

Can imagine there could be issues where spectators in cars try to blag a run or three without paying? Fair enough.

Well, I guess I'll just monitor the situation and hope it is possible to come and watch...

oops!

Re spectators guys, I will be making an announcement. However, in the meantime I can only say the following. Unfortunately we had a few problems last time that I need to address before I can allow any spectators who aren't in paying cars. If I dont do this it will jeopardise future vmax events.

I'd come along for the breakfast even if I wasn't going on to Brunters.
