Spent a pleasent Saturday afternoon at Goodwood watching the sprint with my daughter.
Lots of action with mini's on 2 wheels, a little Pug (I think) on 3, but special mention must go to 2 PistonHeaders.
Steve Heath for a very gratious and loud spin and top efforts for cutting the grass. (How big is the flame from the exhaust! ) My daughter has renamed your beast the Ribena Car
But top award for the day goes to Andy (Shandyt) in his Cerbera for just getting 2 wheels on the grass out of the chicane on to the start finish line and going a bit squffy, and then with 2 wheels still on the grass and with balls of steel figures the only way out of this one is to plant the loud pedal. Cue mucho grass/mud flying, mucho squirming Cerbera and marshals running for cover!

Cheers for the entertainment guys - and nice to met you at last Dusty.

It was indeed a fantastic day

Lots of cars, lots of noise, lots of fun.

And I just LOVE the bridge under the track

Cheers

That Mini on 2 wheels was great, the first managed to lift the rear wheel so he went one better

Yeah great laugh, this one was so much better than the last I attended for some reason. When is the next on at Goodwood?
We should all really arrange to meet. I saw a Cerbie, a Chim and an S parked on the grass by the exit of the tunnel, my daughter and I were in the blue Chim reversed against the fence at the entrance to the paddock.

Mine was the cosmos blue Griff parked next to it. (You have to have a really good imagination to see it!)

Good to meet you all.
SteveH just said there is another meeting at Goodwood on June 5th.
Can anyone remind me who the Cerbera (Andy) driver signs on to PH as please.

Yep, June 5th and July 3rd. Will make one or both of them with a bit of luck. I mentioned to the guys at work about a free day out so looks like there could be a crowd of us.

Andy uses shandyt to sign in. I had a look at his profile, only 10 posts or so. Slacker.

I'll be there for June 5th but not July as that is PistonFest wkend.

I now have a race meeting calender set up and dates are clashing all over the place. I cant believe what a busy year it is. More excuses to get the Griff out, Fantastic!
