....but can't afford one so how can I make my 360 sound like a CS???

Why did you have to bring your car along to VMAX on Sunday Kevin?...Now that's how a Ferrari should feel, sound and go like and now I need one.

What can I do to make mine sound like that?..Remove CATS & Silencers?? Anyone got any suggestions to improve the sound on a TUBI?

BTW, thanks for the ride in it Kevin, got some wicked footage of two runs we did together, awesome

Hmmm, had similar thoughts last night, having piloted the monster.

In an idea world I'd have a CS to go with the porsche. And on that front Kev, probably not a good idea to take Rich1231 out in the CS, his accountant will want to kill you shortly afterwards.

The CS is utterly amazing, I have never heard anything like it, and it sounds so rude and filthy!

....and the painted stripe is beautiful in the flesh too.

Just magic

LOL!

*sigh* I wish I was in a position to be unhappy with a 360. But Kev's CS did sound the biz when I first heard it at Brunters back in March - but I wonder how many more synapses his car is ripping to shreds post-installation of the NGT.

Big T, if you were at VMAX IV earlier this year you would have seen and heard Pani's Spider (the Grigio Alloy one). Not sure if he was at the one last weekend, but from the pics, it doesn't look like it.

His car I believe has been given the full Scuderia treatment - de-cat, tubi race, air boxes and ECU reprogramming. Not sure if there's more. It pumps out way north of the standard 400 horses and revs higher I think.

But even after all that, it did not sound at all like Kevin's wee baby that afternoon. Now of course Kevin's gone and installed this Tubi thing since I last heard it, so the difference in quality of shivers will be even greater.

Bottom line: get yerself a CS.

Afternoon all! Have to say that yesterday was a damn good laugh. It's the sort of thing weekends are for, and I'm still smiling about it. Breezing through a ton and being able to keep your foot hard in is such a luxury.

Tony, if you're serious,I think you'll be able to get all the bits you want. I'm told that CS bits will be available as options on the 360/360M/420, including exhaust, wheels, brakes (I wouldn't),carbon fibre pieces etc. Give Manu or Ajay a bell and they'll sort something out for you. You know, I was thinking it's a shame we didn't line up the other way around (me on the left), then we could have done all the Italian hand gestures for the camera!

-DeaDLocK-, Yeah I was at VMAX IV and I know Pani, he's a friend of mine and the others that came up with me in the noisy 355's/Lambo etc...I heard his again last week and I couldn't tell much difference in sound to mine....you're right it doesn't sound nothing like a CS or Kev's CS and Kev's was running with the standard box...so why so much difference in sound???

May have to take the silencers out then

Cheers Kev, will bell them and see what they say...yeah that would have been fun fella, Oh and I've got you on camera giving me such hand gestures!!!

Your motor is the bollox...The best bit on film is when you brake much later than me on the first bend (those fckuing brakes of yours!!), then I follow you round to the straight and we're pretty close up to the end then through the first right hander.....then you take the next left hander amazingly quick, the sound......As you said, that's what weekends are for and owning these cars...I'm on camera saying "That's a fckuing stradale in front of me giving it some" and there's me in a 360M...boyhood dreams coming true my friend...

You have got to digitize that video! WMV it and stick it up. I have got to see that.

I'll host it for all to see as well if need be.

Will try to...

Anyway, apparently there's a few options for the 360 to sound better so gonna try a few out this weekend hopefully....Can't wait.

Cracking.

Couldn't make it this time, but quite fancy a go next time, the NSX sounding quite a bit better than standard and "supposedly" delivery a touch more power too. I reckon 160+ sould be on the cards for sure.

Anyway, back to the matter(s) in hand. I've been lucky enough to passenger in both of these automotive beauties and the first thing that struck me about the CS was actually its sheer bl00dy unbelievable grip grip and composure at VERY high corner speeds. Both cars sound AWSOME from inside and outside so basically I'm jealous as hell of both of you. There's something quite fabulously well judged about the way they've gone about transforming 360 into CS. Its the carbon / Alcantara / sparse interior. Its the subtle front lip extension. Its the wheels. Its the bl00dy MASSIVE brakes. Check one out from the rear. SPECIAL. Yeah, you know it too Kev And despite posting this post a while ago: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=63&h=&t=68122 I've totally changed my mind having seen her in the flesh. But Big_T, I'd happily covet your car anytime fella. Simply gorgeous.

Burriana, you swine! How dare you question my mental integrity

You must hear for yourself the noise the CS makes, it is obscene! Honest.

My friend Rich (Ruxpin) was filming while we were driving to Brunters, and the CS sounds mad. He recorded some of Kevin's starts on the strip too. Will burn a copy for you when Rich has produced a CD-ROM.....then you'll know what I mean. It makes most TVR's sound quiet.

You are thinking of a 348? Thought you were a TVR/Marcos man?

Best Regards

MOD.
