lunchtime today nipped down to hedge end from the airport and saw 2 masers 3200/4200 in the space of 5 minutes. Getting common around here

one was a tasty black one similar to flasher's leaving B & Q car park and the other an odd sort of biege/cream colour heading up the same stretch of road to junction 7 of the M27. Dont suppose its anyone on here is it?

Yes. The black one was me. You're right about the tasty looking bit, I do think that the black is the best colour : Hard work but does look smart. I have bought loads of Meguiars stuff to make it look even better, but the weather has been so poor lateley that I havent had a chance. Good spot. I didnt see the other one though. I trust I was driving very carefully !!

blimey! Seeing as Pistonheads seems to attract mainly TVR owners and few maserati/fezza sorts I wasnt expecting a response!

Flasher is a good mate of mine and has been down to my place a few times in his black 3200 and it really looks the part. Followed him to le mans and those rear lights are stunning.

You were waiting at the car park exit when I went past the other way down that dual carriageway - I was in the walnut warrior (my everyday Rover tin top) and no one would notice that! its the perfect car for an armed robber - "what car did he escape in Sir" "oh, no idea, this sort of biggish metal thing with wheels"

In fairness, although only 500 metres away, the other one spotted was an hour later when i returned! I only love a few hundred metres from that B&Q on Grange Park so popped home for some lunch before heading back to the motorway.

Funnily enough i did recall from a PHers profile they were local with a 3200 so hence putting up my post thinking it might be you. small world!

Amazingly quick response. Well done Ian.

See you at Pie on the Beach III?
A drive around hampshire roads and then on to Hayling for a meet and some silly games (a "good walk ruined").
Its in the event forums. Would be good to get more non-TVRs to turn up.

Going to Bracknell and back today I saw 2 massers, 2 Bentley Continentals and a MB Maybach (on the A303....in 2 tone green)!!!! Also saw a Land Rover test mule on the 303 the other day, looked like the pictures of the next LR that where in Autocar a few months back, huge box shape.

hey, I drive one too 50% of the time. Although next stage of tuning to fool the McD lax power mob should see 250bhp so its a Rover that has the potential to embarass.
