i am currentley trying to sell my landrover v8 110 (see private adds) and im am recieving lots of emails from socalled traders all over europe wanting to import it for there customers, none of them haggle on price or want to send anyone to inspect the vehicle, and claim they will send me a cashiers cheque for several thousand more than asking price, as long as i forward funds to the shipping company?
one of these people has told me they have already sent cheque after just seeing 2 very bad photos!!
this all sounds a bit strange, anyone heard of any scams that sound similar to this???

any advice would be apreciated!!!

Anything that asks you to pay something, or give your bank account details is likely to be a scam. If in doubt wait for the cheque to arrive (did they have your name and address?) bank it, wait for it to clear then do the deal.

I would post this on the SPL forum and see what the bib have to say.

If anyone knows the latest scams it will be them.
