How Much !!!!!

Finally got my 4200 Coupe Cambio!! (8 month wait but thats a different story)

It's an 02 model and wasn't originally specified with the 5 disk CD changer - also somewhere over the course of time the owners handbook got misplaced.

So I phone up my friendly local Masser dealer and ask the parts department "how much"

Cd Multichanger - £ 841 plus VAT plus fitting - or about £1100 !!!!!

After regaining my breath I asked the guy weather the unit was just a badged up version of another manufacturers unit - so he gave me the number of the aftermarket people "we always use" - quick call - fuly warrantied install of the same unit £ 350!!!

I also asked how much for the owners handbook, now this is just the book not the fancy wallet or anything else ...... £ 92.50 ......


I get the impression that running costs could be a tad more than I expected.

Lesson in Italian car life - always make sure the car is fully equipped with everything it was meant to come with. Otherwise barter down by very large amounts...

Do they still come with red fobs? If so, did you get it? This would be most upsetting if you didn't!

No the 4200 has a master key system that can be ordered from the factory and then "programmed to the ignition" (£250 all in) ...... as you can tell I asked that question!
