I'm looking into my first Ferrari ownership and am particularly taken with the 348.

Does left hand drive have the same effect on these as all other cars (I can see that theoverall price is a little lower) or are people not put off bu this fact as its a Ferrari?

LHD is the way Enzo wanted it.

Handy when you are on the continent - a bugger when you go into carpark.

Solution: Keep driving and never get out.

Phil,

I'm in the same boat as you. Rule of thumb is that RHD adds 4 or 5k on to the price. Lots of people in UK, like me, don't mind LHD as long as the price reflects this.

Mind you, I'm a bit wierd and would prefer RHD not because of UK driving but the opposite, so that when I take it down to Spain, people realise straight away that it's a UK car and appreciate the fact that it's been driven all the way down from England and not just some rich local up from Banus! Told you I was wierd

Al, solution, get a LHD and with the UK registration plate and big GB sticker on it you'll get the recognition and save yourself some £.

I know, but a lot of people don't immediately click on the number plate, but they instinctively know that the wheel is not where it should be... or should that be that the car is not where it should be

HA! Y'know that never even occured to me. So, how do you get a car park ticket in the slot and through the barrier without trouble?

Get out of the car and put the ticket in....just like you would if you were in a RHD car in Europe.

Given the scarcity of tolls (at present) in the UK, and the large number in France and Italy, a LHD car is great if you're travelling abroad, alone, on the motorway...
