Weatherstrip Adhesive - What/Where/How?
Discussion
I have just noticed while cleaning the car that a couple of areas of the weatherstrip around the windscreen are coming away. It doesn't look damaged, just that the adhesive has failed.
I've googled about a bit, and found the 3M adhesive - http://www.shop3m.com/60455055602.html Although finding a supplier in the UK has been challenging!
Is there another brand anyone could recommend or a good place to pick some up? I guess Halfords would do something, but I noticed this after they had closed today, so didn't have a chance to wander down and look (and I find their site awful).
A couple of tips on applying the stuff would be appreciated, although I'm guessing in this situation that less is more and not to go mad applying loads of it.
Thanks

Have now had a look around the Halfords site and have found this - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...
I assume that will do the trick nicely?

That silicone from halfords should do the job. Try to get the surfaces as clean as possible, apply it put the seal in place and wipe of any excess and if you can tape it down with some masking tape for as long as possible.
If that doesnt work have a search for wayside adhesives they do a lot of similar products to 3m but cheaper and just as good.
