I have decided to have a little go at selling 'cars on the side' as it were.
Now I don't want to sell tat, and I don't want to stitch people up. And i kind of think that as long as I am not losing money, then any profit is profit, and it's a nice little hobby at worst!
However, i think i should be able to make some money if i buy the right cars and have the right contacts.
I already have a really good mechanic who will sensibly MOT and take care of servicing and any mechanical work.
I can do most of the valeting side of things, and I don’t really plan on buying cars that are rotten, so i am not really looking for a body shop.
But having just bought a lovely 2001 E38 728i to sell on - it needs a couple of light 'dinks' and two scuffs to the bumper paintwork, addressing if i am to ask top money for the car.
Anyone know a good company or person to make contact with, whom can do these kind of jobs at a rate that doesn’t suck all the profit out of the car? and any future cars I undertake such work on.
