Another similar one to the Citigo above - Mk2 1.2 Ford Ka Titanium now transplanted with a tuned Abarth Comp engine & running gear but not declared for the much reduced tax rate bracket.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125900978272
Legalities aside that is quite a sleeper potentially, Ford never did a fast version of Ka, 69 bhp was your lot so thats getting on for four times as much power if its true.

Its a bit lairy looking now but tone it down a bit its just your average cheap old shed not typically modified, should still be under a ton and everything I guess just bolts in from a 500 Abarth, so all mechanical mods will be compatible. Would need a fairly quiet exhaust so its not got Abarth sounds blaring out.

This got linked on a Ford page - Mk6 Fiesta ST conversion - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394610231046

Started out life as a 1.4 diesel van before having a written off Fiesta ST fully shelled into it.

Unsurprisingly "Vehicle is still registered as a 1.4 diesel and would be up to new owner to notify DVLA"

I’m sure this was for sale a month or so ago at £69 grand rolleyes
It’s looks nice but I bet there is no paper chain for all the parts and work carried out, and you can almost bet the logbook has not been updated in any way or fashion
I just have visions of that green one that got crushed by the police cop

It's all very very odd. 2018 but 23 Reg, apparently registered 6/8/23 but 52900 miles....

One of the photos shows a reg of HC56 OSS but that doesn't find anything either.

The idrive service history. I thought they had the dealer code? I've not seen text like that before.

I linked a couple of M3 estate conversions on this thread before. I wouldn't go near one.

Being sold as a facelift S4 Abarth 595 Comp - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175880191337

Ad text admits it started out life as a 2015 S3 1.2 Fiat 500 that ended up being a Cat S so a "previous owner" decided to build it back up as an Abarth 595 Comp with no expense spared and all genuine parts - fair to assume there's possibly a stolen / stripped / never recovered genuine comp somewhere in those parts.

Of course when you run the reg R77 TOR through it's still down as a 1.2 "Fiat 500 Cult" with the DVLA so all that expense on the conversion but for some reason didn't want to log it scratchchin Of course i'm sure that wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that as it stands they currently only pay £20 tax for the 500 compared to £180 for a genuine 595 comp rolleyes

Nice MOT earlier this year too - seller says they really cared for the car yet the below legal tread tyres and missing wheel bolts all round says otherwise hehe Nothing says dodgy MOT more than the failures disappearing yet some being listed as minor advisories at another tester 3 days & 27 miles later scratchchin

Does anyone know what has happened to Liquid Knight?

This thread is his baby and there appears to have been no sign of him for the best part of two years!

No, still using the same user name.

If the user name had changed, it would be reflected in the profile.

It looks like it has been changed at the DVLA to a 2.5, no MOT however
