Cars that share rear lights

What was used on the rear of the Aston DB2s and 2/4s?
From memory, the DB2 and early DB2/4 had standard Lucas round lights but the 2/4 MkIII shared the 'church window' type with the early DB4, the DB4GT, the Peerless, some Bentleys and the Humber Snipe. The Humber had different lenses; white and red instead of amber and red.I should check really, shouldn't I?

That's a Scimitar SE5 not SE5a. The 5a had the reversing lights built into the light unit.Reliant Scimitar Se5a
SE5 lights are from a Hillman hunter

"Borrowed" from here, Aston Martin v8!
You will find multiple examples of this
from small volume UK manufactures as they were all raiding the big boys part bins. Just surprises me Reliant went to Aston for this bit, but suspect it was also used elsewhere?
I heard from a reliable source that the low volume UK vehicle manufacturers formed an informal association in order to source components - hence many of the same parts crop up in a variety of cars.
Regarding the Scimitar SE5a and on rear lights, these were also used on the Lotus Elite and Eclat series 1.

Gonna need to go "full beard" for this one. Here goes...
MAN coaches have been known to use BMW 3-Series E46 headlights.
Deep breath... More beardage incoming. Earlier MAN coaches used pre-facelift E46 headlights.
And... Relax. #
ETA: I see another poster mentioned this a page or so back. I read the first seven pages, and thought I'd be safe!
