Who's coming along to this one - the last chance to see Tuscans racing in their current form? (But lets hope not the last)

If the weather holds it'll be a great day out

Is this the first weekend in October? Think there is usually a large contingent from the mid-Essex section. We usually take over the grassy knoll on the straight bit just after Druids. Just look out for the TVR flags and come and have some home-made cake.

Yup.

Tuscans should be ok, albeit we'll miss the back/GP section.

My prediction for the GTs is 3 laps, safety car, another few laps, safety car again....repeat until end of race....

Even better for spectating. There are plenty of places around the indy track that you can se all but 2 seconds worth of racing

True, but a complete and utter waste of time for GT cars...

If, as usually happens for the Championship finale, we get a 30-odd car grid, it'll be chaos. Good to watch though, I agree, but we want to be stretching our legs, which is difficult to do on a 1.2 mile lap.

It's certainly going to be a lively race, but we aren't moaning about the indy circuit. should suit us very well indeed, particularly if it rains.

If it rains I reckon you chaps will be on the overall podium - if qualifying's wet too you could get the win.

I hope it's dry for our sakes...

yup, if it's wet, Barrie and co could get the win they have been denied so far this year.

Looking forward to the final rounds should be good

Has anyone got a timetable yet? I'm hoping to be able to see a bit on the Saturday as well as the Sunday.

Issue 1 here. Haven't had time to get it on the site yet.

Please excuse the big yellow lines through the important races .

Yeah, but it will change 6 times uptill the meeting, and even then on the day (or am I just being cynical??)

Very true - but you have to start somewhere.

There are a few drivers of small Sheffield built sportscars that are a little miffed at being in the bump slot twice.

We shall see what transpires

Rich.

Cheers DayDreamer. I'll try to remember your number this time and come and say hello.

Good news so far! I'll be able to able to come to Brands between wedding and reception on Saturday, and a 10:30 start for the Tuscans on Sunday gives me a fighting chance of crawling out of whichever bush I end up in and getting to Brands before the race.
