Thanks for the reply. I'm sure they are good recommendations but I'm afraid my gearbox is from something a little more mundane, namely a Toyota RAV4.
No probs, but I reckon voigts are worth contacting as I know they do the more run of the mill stuff as well asthe more exotic. Cogs is cogs as they say Thanks Duncan, this sounds very promising. Hadn't found either of these in my previous searches so will be giving them a ring. I know exactly where Stephenson Transmissions is and is not too far from me so will try them first. Thanks again.

I've contacted Geartorque already. They seem to know their stuff and be reliable, but have quoted £1500+vat which seems like a lot and is why I'm trying to find other quotes. The best option would be a box from a scrapyard but they're not easy to find and I have come close to being ripped off by one Jap car parts dealer in Birmingham, fortunately I paid with visa and should get my money back. I've also been offered a reconditioned box from a company in Cleckheaton with a fancy website, but this time did some homework and when I looked at their reviews on google I became very wary. Once bitten.
Brear in Leeds is quite good and usually comes recommended.
