Brands is quoting £10 for tickets on Saturday as well as Sunday!

There's only 4 races! Money grabbing...

If you buy on line it is currently £8 per day but £15 for a weekend ticket for both days. Offer closes 12pm on 27th Sept.

Details via the motorsport vision website.

I've just noticed a delivery fee.....£1.50. Not sure if that is per order or ticket.....

I went to the first round at Donington in May 1989, I'm going to try and get to the last one too. It's a shame to see the championship finish, it's given us all so much pleasure over the years

Anyone else at the first race at Donnington? Jasper do you have an entry list?

Was Petrol Ted there with his BBC model B computer?

I've got the official list (nothing to do with the cars that will actually appear ) at home. If its not up by the time I get back, I'll post it tonight.

Glad to see that SRO are putting their full commitment into this. After the threads on entry fees support races (i.e. Tuscans pay about 150% of the circuit hire costs - Ginettas about 500%), the spare money has obviously not been spent on the web site.

They are still showing the timetable for the Thruxton races. Very frustrating - we have issue 1, but by now, I would expect issue 5 to be out .

Entry list as per final instructions. As 2/3rds of the Ginetta drivers are missing from our list (including the winner of the Dunlop Challenge), I'd take this with a pinch of salt.

3 Hugh Marshall
5 Gerard Coakley
6 Andy Holden
7 Darren Dowling
8 Peter Wheeler
10 Tim Hood
16 Robert Stanton
27 Rod Barrett / Jan Persson
38 Lee Caroline
41 Philip Keen
58 Ben Samuelson
77 Richard Hay
99 Richard Stanton

As mentioned above - this is the official list as per final instructions, so will be totally wrong .

You can definitely add David Mason - No 2 to the list above and I believe Bob Ross No 4 will also be out...

Hui NO 3

Sorry - been a bit busy....

... as regards entry list - I don't think Ben will be racing, but I'm sure the factory will have someone in the No58 car. There may be one or two more entries too - but not sure.

No6 now has a new back end - just picked him up from Ewelme Coachworks after painting. Huge thanks to Steve Howard (Thames Valley/Insane Racing) for 'stitching' the new bodywork on, and Paul at Ewelme has done a stunning job on the final prep and paintwork in half the time he needed! Diamond geezers

Once again a prang has allowed us to improve the car - we have again chopped out a load of old and heavy repairs - No6's @rse has never looked so good, or been so light

Oh cake will be included. I currently have requests for chocolate fairy cakes, apple & fruit cake and a victoria sponge. Guess I will be bringing a selection round to the Insane racing tent in exhange for a cup of tea.

See you on Sunday guys.

and I promise not to show you the scars from my operation
