After my wallet escaped Costco unscathed I went into Halfords today and found these on offer:

Heard good things about them on PH and I needed some decent spanners anyway.

The problem that I find with them is that they are difficult to locate onto a bolt in a small space becuase the hinge bends, and the ring around the rathet is quite large. The Teng ratchets are very good (but more expensive)

They are a godsend, I had to get at a bolt on top of my gearbox with limited access and a limited range of movement, 20 mins to undo it at about a 1/4 turn at a time and then having to locate the bolt again, put one of these on, 2 minute job, wouldnt be without them now, they can flop about abot as has been said but it is worth it, at this price they are a steal, good quality as well.

Just been and bought some this lunchtime smile. Have been contemplating it for a while now, and they do several different sets, but these cover more of the sizes required for the money. Happy days smile

Have to say, halfrauds with there shelves full of tat, and staff who seem to know nothing, the professional range of tools are very good, even more so when you can get them on a deal .

Picked up a set tonight . At the price they are it's silly not too. Don't try to use the trade card with them though , doesn't work!

They would be something like £67 with the trade card smile
