Having read in Porsche Post that all PCGB track days this year would be run Open Pit Lane I was disapointed to find when the final instructions arrived on Friday they are running the track day as 3 sessions with a max of 2hrs on track. Any one else peed off?

I think I'd be even more peed off when I looked at the Trackzone prices for Donnington.
How does PCGB justify charging upto £200 more for it's trackdays when you would think the club was supposed to be run for the benefit of its members.

I should ring club office on Monday and confirm. I am sure it's just incorrect paperwork as I have done Open pitlane days with PCGB and the joining instructions said sessions

Are there any places left, btw?

Since various considerations, insurance included, preclude me from doing any more track days this year I am seriously considering seeing if there's a place I could usurp.

Donington is a long way from me. But I do rather fancy it..

Diver -I assumed this too! I'll be ringing Club on Monday as well!!!

BTW, as of last week it was fully booked with a reserve list of fourteen.

C u there!!

Costs -its' cheaper, much cheaper, to hire Donington in the low season, i.e. November-February (I believe) than at other times of year.....)

Donny club track day is open pit lane, after first session, and will stay this away as long as all behave themselfs.
Carrea gt,s prices falling at last,Reading has one at list price with 800miles on the clock, but already had the front blown in,and 2 other dealers have cars that are close to list and will probably sell for list. Not suprised as i have now found a total of 25 carrea gts for sale!In europe alone

Steve Kevlin has confirmed order of play for the day.

Signing on from 8am, driver briefing and first hour (from 9am) in sessions. From 10am the plan is to run an open pit lane.

Looking forward to dry day at donny,we are racing there the following sat & sunday,if any one is around.

I have thought many times about a 964,they do handle well, have driven ex peter morris 964rsr a few times around donny and raced it there. If only they had the lines of a 993!I would have had one.As i do think they can be made to handle better than a 993 on a smooth circuit.
Carrera GT,not yet,not sure where the prices will go,dont want to loose a lot of money possibly! There are 14 cars sold so far through Reading, plus personal imports, other worrying factor is the number being made,as there will be 1500 cars about. Not as exclusive as a enzo.
Any way i am happy with my 1971 2.5 911st,hopefully tour auto in 05 and classic lemans in 06,or thats the plan at the moment.Have a look at classic and sportscar,a article is on the car,not so accurate in a few places though.
Any one going to the ring with rma or easy track in november?
Regards
Paul.

I know what car you have so i'll try and get some good snaps, but to be honest I am a bit of a novice, so most will be shit!
