Last time I waxed my Elise I managed to get some wax on the textured black plastic around the wing mirrors. I'm keen to get it off as it's showing up white. Normal washing won't remove it, anyone got any tips? Thanks.

Rubbing alcohol, diluted washing up liquid (rinse off afterwards) or peanut butter ( I kid you not on plastic).

A plain white pencil eraser will take it off a treat.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'll see what I've got in the kitchen cupboard and give it a go at the weekend!
