Oh, crikey. Didn't a PHer from that area of the UK recently mention he/she knew someone who had just bought an Enzo.

Whats the problem. A bit of T-Cut and some elbow grease and that will polish out

Joking aside its not a very nice thing to happen to your P&J. I cant believe that whoever owned it would be driving in this weather anyway, traction control or not.

If you can afford an Enzo you could afford an Audi RS6 or some other fast winter wagon.

Alex G had a client who has not long picked one up. Could be him. Not in for a very happy Christmas whoever the poor sod is.

Oh my. Very bad news for the owner, not relevant that they could probably afford to fix it. Enormous sympathy to anyone connected with the sad event.

Are you suggesting that Enzo owners should keep them as garage queens? Granted if I owned one I wouldn't take one out in the snow, but anything else would be game on!!

Not at all and fortunately the majority of the ones in this country seem to be driven a lot which is great. Just not sure I would drive one in the middle of December if I owned one.

My Elise feels twitchy enough with the roads as wet and greasy as they are at the moment. Dread to think what it would be like in an Enzo.

Dont know the full details of the crash but it says he was overtaking a bus at the time so he may have been a bit heavy with his right foot.

It all looks fixable though and hopefully no one was hurt (apart from the owners credit card)

Wonder if the guy will claim on his "new for old" insurance policy??

Would be interesting to see what a salvageable/repairable Enzo would be sold for!!

Not sure which on that is as I didnt see the article. [DELETED..........] Gutted for whoever it belongs to though.

Edited by Dazren, as I'm sure the many Enzo owners out there, some of them friends of PHers, would not appreciate speculation that it was their car as they "drive it a lot".

the repair bill will undoubtedly be insanely high, but frankly it probably looks a lot worse than it is .... I would imagine that anyone who owns such a car will appreciate that this is the risk you take every time you give it a little power - I'm sure he was gutted though.... as was I on the two occasions someone hit my Chim ......

as far as using it in the winter - what's the point in owning a fast car if you don't use it, sure you become a little more defensive, but they're built to be used .... exactly the same as people who prang their classic whilst racing - that's what it's for....

mind you I speak as someone who practically span my Cerb in my work carpark just now... oops...

Winter is too long in this country to not drive throughout it.

I have a friend who 'pranged' his F40, and although he could easily afford the repair, he said it took him weeks to get over it. Once a pistonhead, always a pistonhead I suppose!

Sad, but at least he's ok.

Is the Bloke in red the owner. You know the one who's looking at his feet while his wife looks a bit miffed.
Man it's true, a picture can paint a thousand words.

I have driven my old Cerbera in deep snow at least twice. No dent's, honest. Just lot's of fun
Having said that there's no way in hell i would drive the Masser in snow/ice. When the turbo's kick in the show would be over
