just a small question ,but how can i get my wheels to look like new as the rear ones have got some paint coming off and is starting to look tatty ,oh and i want to do it myself rather than pay for them to be done .what paint to use and has anybody done there own with success.....

Haven't done any wheel fettling for a few years now, but I used to get them blasted, then the usual anti-rust stuff and then spray them silver, mind you this was on my 1969 Hillman Hunter

Don't know about the modern wheel finishes, but to be honest, if mine were as bad as you describe yours, I'd get 'em done professionally, no question. Mine had been refurbished by a proper place before I bought my car and they're as good as new now – just like the factory ones when new.

Don't waste your time pi55ing about – you'll not get as good a finish IMO.
