maserati3200gt,

You said you were having your GranSport test drive on Wednesday. Success or not?

Hi McNab
its was great fun!
much more responsive than my 3200 gt ! and I thought that was great !!!
what a laugh !
I was really tempted to place the order but I have decided to keep my 3200gt and continue with the Bentley GT.

Best of both worlds (-;

So you're going to have a Maserati AND a Bentley?

That's just greedy

I know you were also interested in the F430, but did you consider a DB9 at all?

All things are relative, but I see quite a few Bentley GTs in Guildford (we get a great view of the one-way system from the office). It's only my personal opinion, but I think they look best in dark colours (black's best). They also have amazing road-presence. I also prefer the "multi-spoke" alloys as opposed to the 5-spoke jobbies. Even better would be the 20" ones now available as part of the Mulliner bits 'n pieces. What colour are you going for?

You must post a pic of the Bentley when you get it - I don't think there's been one on PH yet (apologies to Bentley GT owners if I'm wrong).

Twin Turbo - I was not prepared to wait for approx 3 years for the 430 / or pay a premium so i felt this was the best option for me.

The DB9 looks great but I personally dont like the back of them (Just my humble opinion)
So after experiencing the Bentley it felt right and as with the 3200GT its a car I never thought I would own ! And as with the 3200GT the experience made me buy the car there and then.

P.S (Ive gone for the 5 spoke wheels)

Happy Xmas to you guys as well - Hope you have a great time over the the next week .

Blimey I didnt realise there was an 18 month wait on a Bentley GT...........there are quiet a few nearly new ones on the market, under 10000 miles...........

Thats what I was quoted upon placing the order but I was told this is just a guideline.

Making 5,000 a year the wait may be reduced according to Bentley.
