Well the old itchy feet syndrome has come in to play and as much as I enjoyed my 3200 I have chopped it in on something a bit different - an S2 Lotus Exige.

I'll always look back on the Maser fondly and while the ownership experience was a bit of a rollercoaster ride, overall the highs certainly outweighed the lows. I've certainly never owned a car that attracted as much positive reaction from everyone you come across.

Obviously the Lotus is going to be a very different sort of experience but one I am looking forward to. Meanwhile I'll continue to lurk here and probably get jealous when I read you guys singing the praises of your cars!

Cheers,
Chris

Hello Chris, I had the pleasure of your 3200 at VMAX last year, quick motor! I had a good thrape in an S2 Exige a while back, don't think you'll be missing the 3200 THAT much Absolutely hilarious fun, and great looking - what colour did you go for?

Storm Titanium (sort of graphite). I looked at all the outrageous colours but decided I might go off them over time so played it a bit more conservative.

I'm looking forward to getting some tuition in the Exige and getting on a few track days. This was one of the main reasons for the change really.

Congrats Chris, S2 looks like an awesome bit of kit, but glad you didn't go tree frog stylee like evo have! Look forward to seeing the car at a meet soon!

BTW did you trade against the S2 or sell privately?

I thought I had sold the 3200 privately but the guy got cold feet and backed out (shame for him and me really as I reckon he was getting himself a good deal), so I had to trade it in. After a little bit of overallowance by the dealer I got a price I could just about live with (I won't post it up here in case the girlfriend ever reads this! ).

Chris,

I remember spending about a dozen enjoyable laps in that car at Brunters. But choosing the Exige S2... good choice! gorgeous cars.

Good luck, Chris.

I imagine it'll be a bit better round the twisty bits.

How about some wallpaper for your computer?

Sad, but good luck.

It's on the wife's shopping list. So would appreciate an owners view. Just a little bit impractical (Man, she's mental).
